Addiscombe Little League is proud of it’s ethos of “offering community based football professionally run by volunteers” to the local community of Croydon and surrounding boroughs.
We welcome boys and girls of all abilities every saturday morning and provide a safe, friendly environment in which the children can have fun whilst learning about the game.
We are lucky to be able to draw on some great experience, our league secetary, Paul, has been involved with childrens’ football in South London for 30 years. We’ve benefitted from coaches who work professionally in the game, who have imparted their knowledge and experience along the way. All our coaches are volunteers, many are studying for, or already hold, FA Coaching badges.
We are really proud of our involvement with the local community, and one of our recent volunteer parent/coaches was one of the very first children to start at little league over thirty years ago. When the children retire from little league at 14 (school year 9) we find many want to continue to be involved, as assitant referees and beginning to develop their coaching capabilities.
We are determined to keep our prices as low as they can possibly be, and at £15/season we really are unique in what we offer. If you are interested in your son or duaghter trying a session, come aloong at 9:45 one Saturday monring to try a tester session.
